Jamsil Station

Jamsil is deeper than its lake and tower: walking above a vanished island

For a layered Jamsil visit, leave through Exit 2, enter the East Lake side of Seokchon Lake, pause at the Samjeondo Monument, continue to the West Lake, and choose either a free lakeside view or a paid observatory around sunset. Allow three to five hours. The lake circuit is about 2.5 km, but festival crowds and major events can make a half-lake route the better plan.
