Why is Ilsan Lake Park so large? Reading new-town nature from Jeongbalsan

From Jeongbalsan Station Exit 1, follow the cultural plaza for about ten minutes to Ilsan Lake Park, then select one part of its 9.1-kilometer walking network: ecology, metasequoia shade, gardens, or sunset at Hanul Square. Allow three to five hours. The station–arts–retail–park axis is itself part of the visit because it shows how Ilsan New Town placed public nature at its planned center.
