Why organize travel by station?
Travelers often need to know where to get off before they can decide what to see. We connect the exit, walking time, recommended order, and return journey instead of presenting an isolated list of attractions.
What you can use now
- 123 station hubs across five Korean city regions
- 105 in-depth guides, each available in Korean, English, and Japanese
- Traditional Chinese currently covers 151 guides on station access, preparation, where to stay, itineraries and festivals. More content is being translated in stages.
- Route previews, Korean place names, and Google Maps directions
- Official source links and the date each guide was last checked
How we expand
We begin with Seoul and the metropolitan area, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Daejeon. Other regions will be added only when transit access and reliable source material can be checked.
Language and community status
Completed guides are currently available in Korean, English, and Japanese. Traditional Chinese currently covers 151 guides on station access, preparation, where to stay, itineraries and festivals. More content is being translated in stages. Automation may assist research, drafting, translation, and illustration, but station names, proper nouns, and operational details are compared with official sources.
Reading is open without an account. Google sign-in is available for posting and replies, and authors can manage their own contributions. Reporting and moderation tools help protect the community.
Who is responsible, and how to report an error
HOPESNS is the public pen name of the Korea by Subway operator, responsible for running the site, editing and updating guides, and handling corrections. This is not an official tourism or transit-operator website.
Editorial guides are research-based travel suggestions, not accounts of personal visits. When first-hand observations are included, their date and scope are identified separately.
Station guides explain access and transport; editorial guides compare places and explain choices; trip plans connect stops, time allowances and alternatives.
Use operator facility maps and notices to check entrances, stairs and lifts. Scenic photos and AI reference images do not establish present-day access.
Copy or design edits are separate from fact checks. A check date refers to the cited material, not a site visit or confirmation that every facility is operating today.
Found an error? Send the page URL, the sentence in question, the date checked and an official source if available. Do not send passport details, booking references or payment information.
