ACC Foundation lists Culture Complex Station exits 5/6. Save the Creation venue and gallery name on your ticket, not just an exit number: the campus pin is not the gallery entrance. Check the required lift route separately.

Budget 20 min for access, 80 viewing and 20 seated rest. Confirm the exact gallery and ticket slot; do not assume paid admission without a ticket.

15 min to a restaurant and 45 for food. Switch restaurants if queues consume the time reserved for Geumnamno.

Allow 30 min for the street/memory sites and 60 for the Archives, subject to its own opening. If closed, shorten to the outdoor interpretation rather than promising indoor access.

30 min for Line 1, waiting and approaches; 60 in the market. If stalls will be closing, omit it and return toward Gwangju Songjeong.

How to adapt on the day
If time is short
Drop Yangdong Market if ACC runs long. Keep the booked exhibition and one Geumnamno section rather than racing through every stop.
Rain or unavailable admission
Go from Culture Complex Station directly to a confirmed ACC Creation exhibition. Omit outdoor Geumnamno and Yangdong Market; keep 90–120 min viewing plus food/rest at an open ACC outlet. If ACC is also closed, cancel this fallback and replan at your accommodation.
When not to proceed
On an ACC closure day, an open plaza does not mean exhibitions are open. Remove memory sites restricted for ceremonies or events.
What to check before you go
- Confirm each exhibition’s booking, language and last entry. Store large bags at your accommodation unless venue storage is confirmed.
- ACC’s large underground spaces do not imply short walks. Check the lift serving your specific gallery for wheelchair/stroller use.
- Check booking and admission for the specific ACC exhibition.
- Respect photography and conduct rules at memorial spaces.

Frequently asked questions
Does this cover all of ACC?＋
No. One exhibition leaves room for Geumnamno and the market. For multiple exhibitions, remove the market.
Should I save Yangdong for late night?＋
This plan does not assume late-night trading. Check your intended stalls and skip the stop if too late.
Does the route start at Gwangju Songjeong?＋
No. The local plan starts on reaching Culture Complex Station. Add travel to and from the KTX station.
