Oryong: a park stop with the right return station

Use this guide for a short Seodaejeon Park break when starting near Oryong. Plan one park and your next connection. Seodaejeon mainline station, Seodaejeon Negeori subway station and Oryong are three different places; do not use their names interchangeably.

Station access

Using this station: what to check

  1. 1

    Oryong Station

Choose your exit after checking the walking route and crossings to Seodaejeon Park. This walk suits someone already near Oryong; you do not have to alight here solely for the park. With large bags, settle the route to your next departure point before adding the break.

  2. 2

    Seodaejeon Park

Save “서대전공원, 대전 중구 문화동 1-40”, matching the tourism organisation’s venue address. On a day without an event, plan a rest and short walk. An old festival listing is not evidence of a performance today. Skip the park in poor weather or when access is restricted.

  3. 3

Seodaejeon mainline train or subway return

For a mainline booking, read the ticket again: Seodaejeon and Daejeon are different stations. Leave time to reach the named platform. For the subway, compare returning to Oryong with continuing to Seodaejeon Negeori. Searching for the park does not locate your rail boarding point.
