Sinheung: a practical start from an east-Daejeon base
A practical neighborhood station if you are staying nearby or meeting someone locally. It does not need a dedicated sightseeing detour. For a walk, ride one stop to Daedong and begin the separate neighborhood route there.

For Sky Park, do not start up an arbitrary hill from Sinheung. Pin Daedong Sky Park and compare an approach from Daedong Station before choosing your start.
Drop the hill section with rain, darkness or large bags. Use Sinheung for a chosen neighborhood destination; a viewpoint needs its own slope and return check.
