Suwon Station

Suwon Station to Hwaseong: a realistic day from bus transfer to fortress wall

Suwon Hwaseong is not directly outside Suwon Station. From Exit 9, use a local bus from the Maesan Market stop toward Hwaseong Haenggung or Paldal-gu Office, allowing about 15–25 minutes plus waiting. Visit Haenggung first, then choose either the steep Paldalsan–Seojangdae wall or a flatter Suwoncheon–gate route, and finish in Haenggung-dong or a market. Allow five to eight hours including transfers.
